“Reflections on Life” with Tim Stubbs- A SELLOUT SUCCESS!

Tim Stubbs’s talk “Reflections of Life” on Friday 1 March in Cotterstock

village hall was a sellout. Tim was on great form as he regailed the

audience with stories of the people he met delivering bread from his

father’s bakery in Thurlby in the 1970s and some of the “unusual”

customers he encountered as publican of the Red Lion in Warmington.

There was a quality raffle prize draw with prizes kindly donated by local

businesses and a game of “Heads and Tails” with Paul at the end of the

evening. After expenses Tim’s talk raised an excellent £1015.25 for

Cancer Research UK.
